The article calls attention to the urgent need for addressing this global vision crisis and discusses the work EYElliance is doing to raise awareness and funds for uncorrected vision.
EYElliance's groundbreaking report, Eyeglasses for Global Development: Bridging the Visual Divide, was the catalyst for this coverage. Being the first report to consolidate the evidence of impact and elevate the issue area beyond health with influential signatories from the private sector and leaders from governments in both the Global South and North.
